Herschel et Planck honorés par l'AIAA

Les équipes des satellites et missions spatiales Herschel et Planck ont reçu le American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Space Systems Award, une médaille de l'Institut américain d'aéronautique et d'aérospatiale. La citation est la suivante : “For outstanding scientific achievements recognized by the worldwide scientific community and for outstanding technical performances of the two satellites.”
